The jacket is engineered with an elite 21,500mm waterproof membrane. This heavy-duty hydrostatic barrier is built to withstand torrential wind-driven rain, heavy sleet, and wet, coastal snowpacks. Combined with a 3-layer construction, it ensures you stay bone dry from first chair to last run.
We construct our flagship shell using a heavy-duty 100-Denier (100D) High-Tenacity Nylon ripstop face fabric. This incredibly dense matrix offers maximum abrasion resistance against thick treelines, rocks, and rough ice scrapes. It is designed to resist tearing and punctures, providing heavy-duty protection season after season.
The Summit Pro Shell features 100% heat-bonded taped seams to eliminate microscopic needle-hole leaks entirely. We also utilize premium, polyurethane-coated YKK Vislon AquaGuard exterior zippers to shut out moisture and wind. These specialized tracks are engineered specifically to prevent freezing and jamming in severe alpine storms.
